College Park Redevelopment Plan Review

What do you want for the future of the College Park Neighbourhood?

The City of Grande Prairie is reviewing the Area Redevelopment Plan for the College Park Neighbourhood. An Area Redevelopment Plan (ARP) is a plan that guides future development and redevelopment in a neighbourhood. ARP's can address many topics including building appearance, land use, and public amenity improvements.

The existing College Park Area Redevelopment Plan (ARP) was adopted on September 13, 1999. It focused on a “single house only” approach which restricts medium density development and did not permit semi-detached and duplex housing.

Past Engagement

Public Engagement Sessions were held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 and Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the Ernie Radborne Pavilion in Muskoseepi Park . Please refer to the document library to review the engagement display boards and What we Heard Report.

If you were unable to attend the engagement sessions or require more information please don't hesitate to contact the project lead (contact information above).
