Consultation has concluded

The City of Grande Prairie is developing an Affordable Housing Strategy. The strategy will lay out how the City will work towards improving housing affordability and ensuring that people have access to housing that meets their needs.

The strategy will replace the Affordable Housing Master Plan 2011-2021 to provide an updated vision for housing initiatives in the City. The 2011 to 2021 master plan lead to numerous initiatives and contributed to the creation of over 100 non-market housing units. The strategy will be an updated plan to reflect current housing needs in the community.

    Housing Needs Survey

    The City of Grande Prairie is conducting this survey to support the creation of an Affordable Housing Strategy. The survey will help us better understand how housing costs impact people in the community and who is most in need of support. The information will help the City determine what kinds of services to develop for the community.

    The survey is 23 questions and takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete.
