As the City begins reviewing the 2027 budget, we want to hear from you! This is your chance to share feedback, propose ideas and suggest budget priorities that reflect your vision for Grande Prairie.

The goal is to create a budget that supports City Council’s 2026–2029 Strategic Priorities:

  • Economic Opportunity & Resilience
  • Community Empowerment & Liability
  • Infrastructure & Financial Responsibility
  • Purposeful Leadership Governance

You can get involved using the following tools:

  • Prioritize Tool – Rank the projects you feel should receive funding
  • Open Budget Portal – Dive into detailed financial data from the City
  • Tax Receipt - See how your property taxes are allocated across City services
  • Idea Space – Share your thoughts by answering brainstorming questions
  • Q&A Section – Ask City staff your budget-related questions

In Person Engagement

Join us on September 21 from 4–7 p.m. at the Eastlink Centre to learn more about the City’s budget, ask questions and share your feedback. City staff will be available to answer questions and provide information about City services, funding and the budget process.
