The City of Grande Prairie and the County of Grande Prairie are seeking public input on the future road network south of the Grande Prairie Airport. Specifically, road and intersection development on the land south of 100 Avenue, between Range Road 64 and 65.
Both municipalities have contracted McElhanney Ltd. to lead the project to:
Gather valuable insights from the public and other stakeholders.
Provide an efficient and safe network for all users.
Engagement Process
The Transportation Study includes two phases of engagement to gather feedback about the existing and proposed road network and intersection upgrades.
Phase 1 of engagement included an open house on June 15 and a public survey from June 1 to 30. Input received provided valuable context to the project team and facilitated the development and confirmation of transportation recommendations. Click here for the Transportation Study – Phase I: What We Heard Summary.
Phase 2 of engagement is an opportunity to share your thoughts on the study’s transportation recommendations. We invite you to attend an open house or fill out a short survey at the bottom of this page.
