Grande Prairie Public Transit provides public transportation through a regularly scheduled, fixed-route bus system and charter services.

List of Services

Grande Prairie Public Transit provides service 7 days a week within City limits. Routes run from 5:30 am to 10:15 pm Monday through Friday with a condensed service on the weekends.

Charter Services are available to transport groups to events within the region.

Disabled Transportation Services (DTS) The City of Grande Prairie provides DTS with office space, fleet maintenance, bus storage, and funding.

County Connector Funded by the Provincial Rural Transportation Pilot Program, this rural service connects The County of Grande Prairie, Sexsmith, Beaverlodge, Wembley and Hythe to the City of Grande Prairie.

  • The City of Grande Prairie is currently working on service delivery options and budgets for the future. The goal is to find the right balance between investing in quality public service and keeping tax rates affordable.

    The following survey is about Grande Prairie Transit Service. The feedback will be used to determine what you value most about this service. A balance will be sought regarding service level delivery and ridership demands in an effort to be more effective.

    The survey takes approximately 2 to 5 minutes to complete.
