You shared your voice this spring—and we’re continuing the conversation!

Earlier this year, the City launched the Community Supports & Services Survey to learn which social issues, programs, and services matter most to Grande Prairie residents. The community took part, helping us understand where supports are working well and where more is needed across the community. The survey highlighted key priority areas for families, youth, seniors, and the broader community, and your feedback is now shaping the next step in our engagement process.

We are now hosting community engagement sessions to dive deeper into what residents want to see in the years ahead. These conversations will help guide future Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) priorities, partnerships and funding recommendations.

These sessions are an opportunity to:

  • Share what supports or programs are most important to you
  • Identify barriers that make accessing services difficult
  • Offer ideas for new or strengthened community supports
  • Help us understand how residents prefer to receive information
  • Contribute to building a stronger, more connected Grande Prairie

Engagement Sessions

Montrose Culture Centre
Friday, January 9
5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Grande Prairie Public Library
Monday, January 12
1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Everyone is welcome—families, seniors, youth, service providers, and anyone who cares about community wellbeing. Your lived experience and ideas will help shape practical, local solutions that reflect the needs of our community.
