As the City begins reviewing the 2026 budget, we want to hear from you. This is your chance to share feedback, propose ideas and suggest budget priorities that reflect your vision for Grande Prairie.

The goal is to create a budget that supports City Council’s 2022–2025 Strategic Priorities:

  • Enhancing Quality of Life
  • Promoting Innovative Economic Readiness
  • Building an Inclusive and Caring Community
  • Fostering Engaging Relationships

You can get involved using the following tools:

  • Prioritize Tool – Rank the projects you feel should receive funding
  • Taxpayer Receipt Tool – Estimate how your tax dollars are allocated to City services (coming soon)
  • Open Budget Portal – Dive into detailed financial data from the City
  • Idea Space – Share your thoughts by answering brainstorming questions
  • Q&A Section – Ask City staff your budget-related questions
